Welcome to Skåtøy Festival 2017 13th - 15th of July!
3 DAYS WITH MUSIC, FUN & GOOD MOOD
Head to the idyllic Skåtøy 13 to 15 July 2017 - one of the most beautiful islands in the Kragerø archipelago.
We invite you to a varied program around culture and music
Skåtøy festival theme 2017 is "Our Earth".
The title is taken from the poem "I see" of sigbjørn obstfelder, considered by many as the first modernist writer in Norwegian literature. This year we associate concerts, visual arts, sculpture, visual arts and workshops for children to this year's theme. We also challenges all artists to contribute through their own expression. The subject is vast and wide-ranging and gives us a cultural spans over 150 years. We are proud to present the composer and harp player Ellen Bødtker, which premieres its specially written work "our planet", a live performance for harp, two singers, a dancer and sculptures. In addition, we look forward to experiencing interpretations of talented and young musicians under "øylarm."
